View MoreSiemens’ Optimize MyProgramming/3D Scanner is a software solution designed to improve CNC programming. This tool combines 3D analysis technologies with programming directly on the CNC control, aiming to increase efficiency, precision and quality in production. As part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, Optimize MyProgramming/3D Scanner integrates advanced technologies for process optimization in manufacturing.
The solution offers direct integration into Sinumerik Operate, enabling the operator to create and optimize programs on the control itself. By seamlessly transferring geometric information from 3D CAD models into programs, it reduces the need for manual input, saving time and minimizing errors, according to Siemens.
Optimize MyProgramming/3D Scanner also provides customized suggestions for manufacturing strategies based on geometric features. This capability is said to save time and costs while enabling better parameterization of machining cycles, promoting consistent quality in production.
The software is offered as a perpetual license for real machine tools and as an option for digital twins based on Run MyVirtual Machine. Siemens notes that experienced service providers offer support with comprehensive consulting and implementation to facilitate integration into modern production environments.
With Optimize MyProgramming/3D Scanner, Siemens says it aims to support the future of the manufacturing industry by providing advanced technologies and efficient solutions for higher-quality products and optimized production processes.
