United Grinding North America showcases CNC grinding machines from two of its three divisions, including the Studer FavoritCNC cylindrical grinding machine and the Walter Helitronic Mini Plus tool grinding machine.
The Studer FavoritCNC cylindrical grinding machine provides accuracy, precision and repeatability at a price point that makes it within reach of even the smallest grinding outfits, according to the company. The machine demonstration features OD/ID grinding capabilities and glass scales, and it can accommodate parts up to 1,000 mm between centers.
The Walter Helitronic Mini Plus tool grinding machine is well suited for shops that have high production requirements but are low on floorspace. It features a robot loader with a tool vision and identification system, the company’s Laser Contour Check technology and direct-driven A and C axes.
