Citlali Hernandez and Tamara Monodragon, West Leyden High School, Franklin Park, IL
Hernandez: “I want to bring more attention to women in the technology field. When I grow up, I want to be an athletic trainer. Putting technology to use with medicine and sports could advance the medical field. I also want to further my knowledge.”

Monodragon“I need to know more about technology and how it works. Especially since in technology, there are not very many women. It is very empowering to learn more about it and to hopefully do something in technology in the future.”

Rich East High School, Park Forest IL: “To see the machines and see how they work. Have fun!”

Ryan Mai, Cardinal Manufacturing, Widia Products Group, Latrobe, PA: “I am here to look around and see what is new in the manufacturing world. I also want to help promote our student-run businessCardinal Manufacturing.”

Melanie Isakson, Ivy Tech, Valparaiso, IN: “I am starting my schooling in automation and robotics, and there are so many avenues and techniques and different opportunities. I want to see what that might be and look like.”
