CMM Combines Speed, Accuracy for High Performance
The Strato-Apex CMM from Mitutoyo combines an advanced structure with high-performance control and scanning technologies for faster drive speeds and higher acceleration.
The accuracy measurement units installed on each axis of the CMM consist of reflective linear encoders that utilize precision-crystallized glass scales that exhibit virtually no thermal expansion (coefficient of linear expansion of 0.01 × 10-5/°C), the company says.
