Hainbuch America introduces the seventh addition to its Today-Tonight-Tomorrow modular workholding system, the DEANok. The dovetail adaptation is designed for prismatic stationary applications principally on multi-axis CNC machining centers utilizing three, four and five-axis movements. The DEANok enables complete access to all five sides of a workpiece, with multiple sizes available that quickly mount to all of the company’s stationary chucking systems.

Designed to accept most commercially available dovetail fixtures, the DEANok is fully interchangeable with all of the modular system adaptations and will change over in 20 seconds or less, says the company. Hainbuch adds that adding a device for holding parts with dovetails can improve machining center productivity. With the Today-Tonight-Tomorrow platform, operators can quickly switch from OD to ID to three-jaw to dovetail clamping from a single modular system, enhancing spindle uptime and manufacturing throughput.
