Grizzly Industrial’s G0823 drill press with automatic downfeed is designed to provide precision and power for demanding jobs. It is outfitted with a 2-hp motor, 12 speeds (which are adjustable using V-belts), an R-8 spindle taper, 15" of swing, fine downfeed control and a 14" × 15" precision-ground cast iron table. Its table has rack-and-pinion mounts that enable 360 degrees of rotation, 60 degrees of tilt, 23½" of vertical travel and two ½" T slots for workpiece positioning. The head contains the same rack-and-pinion elevation controls as the table, so it is adjustable 7.8125" vertically and is capable of 360 degrees of rotation around the column. The work surface also has two additional ½" T slots.
