C.R. Onsrud’s X-Series is a five-axis CNC machining platform designed specifically for extrusions. The machining platform is equipped with a rigid design to enable extrusion manufacturers to effectively drill, cut and machine a variety of workpieces. A series of automated clamping devices hold parts firmly and the five-axis milling head can use an array of tools to perform all the necessary machining processes to manufacture parts. According to the company, the machining platform has been designed for use with non-ferrous metals, composites and other materials.
