The AG40L sinker EDM with linear motor drives offers high speed and high acceleration, which is said to enable an even and natural flushing condition for high part accuracy. According to the company, the AG40L can reduce electrical discharge machining time by as much as 50 percent while its menu-driven control simplifies programming.
The high speed AG600L wire EDM features direct-drive linear motors with Heidenhain glass scale feedback, an energy saving circuit to reduce power consumption, motion controller to provide simultaneous axis movement, on-board Heart NC cam system and a rise/fall work tank. This machine, along with the AG40L, has a 10-year positioning guarantee.
