Available from the Starrag Group, the five-axis Heckert HEC 800 X5 MT machining center features a rapid-rotation table for turning. According to the company, the machine provides long-term workpiece accuracy and increased manufacturing reliability. The machining center is said to decrease costs as well as production times. The FANUC 3i CNC high-performance control system enables complex applications with many axes. The machine is designed to fully machine larger components made of corrosion- and heat-resistant materials.
