Mitee-Bite Products offers a concentric outside-diameter (OD) clamping tool. Compact and offering repeatability to within 10 thousandths of an inch, the device is said to be suitable for high-density applications. The device can be machined to hold any shape completely through the clamp and fixture plate or gripping it above a compression nut. Fifteen-degree incremental laser engraved indicators on the large cap (22.5 degrees on small cap) ensures repeatability without a torque wrench as well as preload (15 to 45 degrees) when machining clamps to actual workpiece dimensions.
