Omax Waterjet Machine Eliminates Need for Secondary Machining

Omax Corp., a Hypertherm Associates brand, offers the Maxiem 1530 JetMachining Center, which is designed to deliver versatile, easy to use machining from prototype development to full-scale production. The abrasive waterjet machine comes equipped with the IntelliMax Software Suite.

With a cutting envelope of 10' × 5'2" (3.045 × 1.57 m), Omax’s Maxiem 1530 cuts complex parts out of most materials, including metal, plastic, glass, ceramic, stone and composites. The Maxiem 1530 is designed to cut smooth surface finishes and eliminate the need for secondary machining.

To support customers implementing Smart Factory processes and digitalization, the company also provides technology that provides operational insights and streamline part ordering for machine owners and operators, including the Omax Utilization and Maintenance Dashboards. These tools are designed to monitor and collect key machine data, including usage data, projected garnet consumption and anticipated maintenance needs to inform decision making and optimize processes.
