Bilz Tool Co. introduces Diebold’s 3Dpro waterproof 3D edge finder for use with EDMs. The tool enables the user to align the spindle axis to centerline, set reference points and align non-parallel components. The company’s 3D Protection System is said to protect the measuring unit and its mechanics from damage. The probe accepts 3 mm over-travel in each direction to help prevent breakage from over-traveling. The probe’s compact design contributes to quick and accurate setup.
Another model, the 3Deco, is available for dry environments with use on milling and drilling machines.
