Gardner Business Media moves manufacturing forward by telling the stories of people in manufacturing, the parts they’re building and the shops where they build these parts. In keeping with this mission, Gardner’s booth at IMTS provides an opportunity for attendees to share their stories. In addition, there is an option for anyone (yes, anyone!) to get a free professional headshot.

The booth features a video area where visitors can appear on camera and tell viewers who they are, where they work, what they build and how they play a part in moving manufacturing forward.

The booth also features a video area that allows attendees and exhibitors to tell their own stories, as well as a seven-foot wide, 10-foot-tall mosaic comprised of thousands of photos that represent the manufacturing industry.

Learn From the Trendsetters

Gardner’s booth also features a manufacturing learning bar with a scheduled set of speakers from various organizations, who provide 20-minute sessions on who they are, what they’re doing, how they’re helping the industry and what they see coming in the future.

These organizations include associations and individuals partnered with Gardner, including but not limited to The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA), the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA), the Valve Manufacturers Association, the New American Manufacturing Renaissance Tour, the Reshoring Initiative and Way of the Mill.

The video and learning opportunities at Gardner’s booth allow for a personal connection to the industry, putting faces to the names and organizations that move manufacturing forward and brighten the future of the industry.

Professional Headshots

In an increasingly digital world where organizations are represented online by individuals and their personal brands, a professional headshot can make a great first impression. GBM’s IMTS booth can help you make that positive first impression with a free professional headshot.

“Those people that want to present their brand and business online with an individual presence, I think one of the best ways to do that is with the personal touch, and the personal touch is having a great look in that first photo,” says Jeff Norgord, Gardner Business Media’s VP of marketing and creative. “We are offering that service for free to anybody that asks, whether you’re an attendee or an exhibitor.”
