Oberlin's Olimin8R Prolongs Coolant Life
Westec 2019: Oberlin’s Olimin8R is a small CNC machining pressure filter for continuous, side-stream filtration of a single CNC machine sump.
Oberlin’s Olimin8R is a small pressure filter for continuous side-stream filtration of a single CNC machine sump, removing particles that pass through the chip conveyor. It requires 110 V power and a ½" air line (80 psi minimum). Air usage is estimated at less than 10 scfm.
The company states that the Olimin8R increases machine uptime, reduces the number of tank cleanouts and coolant port cleanings required, prolongs coolant life, and prevents coolant foaming.
