Vacuum Evaporator Treats Wastewater
IMTS 2018: PRAB Inc.’s Evaled vacuum evaporation and distillation system treats wastewater in a range of industrial applications.
Prab Inc.’s Evaled vacuum evaporation and distillation system treats wastewater in a range of industrial applications. These include exhausted oil emulsions, tumbling baths, part-rinsing waters, ion-exchange regeneration, pretreatment baths, pickling baths, rinsing baths (cyanide, copper, zinc, nickel, cobalt, cadmium, chromium) and more. The evaporator operates as a closed-loop system under vacuum. It has one inlet, one concentrate discharge stream and one distillate discharge stream. According to the company, it does not produce air emissions. A water analysis is performed to determine equipment requirements. The company provides energy-efficient and zero-liquid-discharge models for treating process and wastewaters.
