Allweiler, a Circor International brand, has unveiled the Emtec-C three-screw pump for the removal of abrasive machine chips, particles and heat away from cutting surfaces in high-pressure machine tool coolant service. The three-screw pump delivers coolant at a higher rate than centrifugal pumps, allowing machines to run at optimized levels without compromising tool life, according to the company. Read More.
Permanent magnetic chip and parts conveyors from Eriez are designed for safety and productivity. The conveyors move and elevate ferrous materials such as chips, turnings, small parts and stampings. These units reduce maintenance and are designed to promote operator safety. Read More.
Exair’s fine-mesh, non-woven drum cover is designed for use on 30- or 55-gallon drums. The drum cover is said to prevent contamination of material and keeps material contained in the drum for a cleaner and safer work environment. Read More.
JTM Products has released SynMax, a line of synthetic metalworking coolants formulated to cut aluminum as efficiently as steel. The coolant is said to eliminate staining of sensitive metals as well as surface and vapor phase corrosion. Parts and machine tools remain clean, with a light oil-like film to lubricate surfaces, the company says. The coolants are also said to improve cycle time and tool life. Read More.
